cd dvd not reading discs
DVD/CD audio disc drive is not reading any dvd/cd's - Disk Drives.
Lately my computer will not read any disc I put into the drive. I have had this problem. Does the CD/DVD drive show up as a bootable device? Regards. DP -K.

Obviously, my disc drive isn't reading much of anything. It will read burned CDs, and I can burn a CD, however it will not read standard CD-ROM games, - 485403 .. Desktop CD & DVD (Reply Only); Desktop PC Sound and Audio (Reply Only).

It does not matter if it is a blank disc or one with something on it. ... everything on this message board and my dvd drive still will not read cd's!
